Very Good Slider

I like the Miops Capsule Slider very much. In particular I like the possibility of pairing it with the Timelapse+ View via Bluetooth in order to take day to nigh time lapses. I would like to see the possibility in terms of software of the Miops Capsule Slider and Miops Capsule 360 to communicate with cameras in order to regulate the exposure time not just in Bulb mode but also in Manual mode.

Fantastic device for the price, could use one improvement and could benefit from more speed/strength

So first of all, considering that that the slider can be paired with 360 capsules for it to have 3 axis movement, this thing is fantastic. The way that this device does not require assembly on the scene is also a huge plus.
There is one tiny improvement that I would make, the company might even consider adding this as an upgrade since the endings can be screwed off, but usually a slider has 1/4 mounts on both ends to put it on 2 tripods or add arms for stability. Needing a very beefy tripod for this device is not preferable, I need to be highly mobile for my work and to attach arms for stability I had to get very creative. (either 2 smartphone holders with 1/4 screws or 2 flat GoPro sticky mounting plates with some 1/4 adapters.

Actual performance of the device, how smooth is it? Its not perfect but it is pretty good, nothing that a little post-production stabilization can't fix to get that perfect smooth result.
How fast is it? Not that fast, at max speed for the 50cm one, it takes about 30s +-4 secs to get from one side to the other. 15 seconds would have been an ideal speed, but really any faster and i'm better off using my gimbal anyways. Speeding it up in post also does the trick for my use cases (mostly cars). For my needs I can make it work, ease of setup and price really make this a worthwhile device for me.

Does it work at an angle? Yes. Can it do it vertically? If you put a light lens on a camera like a Sony A7 then yes and then if you want to do it at full speed you might need to do it twice since this is approaching the limits of what it can do and might jerk midway once.

Without the 360 capsules you will need to use a fast release plate adapter (I use the Manfrotto 323s) because the camera needs to be screwed on tightly to avoid shaking and vibrations. Though its a good tip even if you are using the capsules. The last issue with this device is that you can't extend it, but overall the benefits totally outweigh the small nuisances. Loving the device, the app is also quite simple.
