Thank you

Thank you for the fast delivery of your order. Matches the description and video I saw earlier. There are a number of remarks - for Sony cameras of the latest releases, the USB cable is type-C. Therefore, you need to look for another cable that is not included in the delivery. This is not convenient.

Great starter kit for Splash Photography

Using the Miops Splash Pro pack to get started in electronic splash photography is easy and effective. The only drawback so far is that it is not compatible with other systems such as MJKZZ.I was hoping to add a SFB (Shoot From Below) system from MJKZZ but they will not sync together. Other than that little glitch, it's a great system for beginners like myself.

Great and Easy to Use!

I've only had a chance to play with this once since receiving it but I was very impressed with how well it functions and how easy it is to set up and use. Can't wait to get back to it with all the ideas I have!

The only *tiny* issue I have is that I wish the water reservoir was larger (or could be swapped out for a larger one).

Repeatability

I was excited to work with this product. The disappointment came with the lack of repeatability. I experimented with how well it worked. I set the delay so I could catch the first drop just before it hit the water. I could get 3 images that showed the drop in about the same place, after that the timing is way off. The drop doesn’t show in the frame. Some frames show a few ripples in the water, some frames show no ripples. After that I can’t repeat the drip just before it hits the water unless I change the timing and the cycle repeats. I’ve used both camera trigger and flash trigger. The results are the same. I have ended up with a few interesting shots but it is more hit or miss. I have 2 images where the 2nd drop it the splash. Those are good but the next 20 images don’t show any splash. It’s either really early or really late. I like the idea of what this product is trying to be but I get the feeling that adjusting the timing on my phone isn’t as accurate as the milliseconds indicate. It’s more like adjusting in 1/4 second increments with the unit not recognizing when it’s supposed to release the drop.
